Sri Sri Radha Govind Dham generally was known as the ISKCON Ahmedabad Temple, is a well known Vaishnav temple of Lord Krishna and Radharani in the form of Radha Govindji. The temple was available for public viewing in 1997 near the Sarkhej Gandhinagar Highway, located near the satellite area of Ahmedabad, India. It is one of the active tourist attractions that is visited in Ahmedabad. Iskcon Ahmedabad was built in 1997 on the orders of A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. He is the founder-acharya of the ISKCON.

History

The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), also known as the Hare Krishna movement or Hare Krishnas, is a Gaudiya Vaishnava Hindu religious organisation. ISKCON was founded in 1966 in New York, A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada is the founder of (ISKCON) who is worshipped by followers as Guru and spiritual master. Its core assumption are based on select historic Hindu scriptures, particularly the Bhagavad-gītā and the Śrīmad Bhāgavatam. ISKCON devotees follow a disciple line of Gaudiya Bhagavata Vaishnavas and are the largest branch of Gaudiya Vaishnavism. This is organization set up to motivate the people regarding Educational, Philanthropic, Religious studies, Spirituality. There are more than 20 temples only in india, and this is a world wide organization. It is one of the dominant tourist place in Ahemdabad to visit. It is not just a place of worship but also a Vedic Learning Center in very scientific way.
